Anthony is a Senior Consultant at UPD and works predominantly in the K-12 Education sector. His work has focused on continuous improvement; designing, planning and implementing, educational equity; and communication. He brings 14 years of experience in K-12 education as a teacher, and campus and district leader. Anthony is an expert at developing skills in high quality materials selection, instructional practices, design and iteration. His project work involves capacity building; professional learning; implementation and continuous improvement; data analysis; action planning strategies; governance; community and stakeholder engagement; and antiracist, diversity, equity and inclusion (ADEI) initiatives. Anthony’s clients have included The Florida Department of Education, Impact Florida, Miami-Dade County Public Schools (FL), Chicago Public Schools (IL), and many others.
Anthony received his BA in Broadcasting and his MEd in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas-Arlington as well as being a state certified teacher and principal. Anthony is also a nationally recognized slam poet, champion youth poetry slam coach and an award-winning DJ. Most importantly he is a husband and father of four.
